Marina Spreafico got her diploma in 1975 at the “Ecole Internationale de théâtre Jacques Lecoq“ in Paris. She studied movement with Monika Pagneux, Gerda Alexander, and Moshe Feldenkrais. She began her theatrical career in 1971 with Carlo Cecchi’s Granteatro company. In 1978 she established the milanese Teatro Arsenale , home to the Arsenale theatrical school and company . Marina Spreafico has done numerous theatrical and musical shows, both with her company and as visiting director for various organizations such as La Fenice of Venice, the Barga Opera Festival, the Teatro Comunale of Bologna, the Teatro Massimo of Palermo, the Divertimento Ensemble, the Teatro Stabile of Palermo, the National Opera of Sofia, the Jan Latham Koenig Ensemble, the Cantiere Internazionale d’Arte of Montepulciano, Barilirica, the Spoleto Festival and various other tours in Italy, Spain, France, Switzerland, Jugoslavia, Bulgaria, Africa and Hong Kong. She has always devoted herself to teaching as she believes that this is a fundamental aspect of theatrical research and exploration; as well as an important facet for the devising and the making of shows. She is a visiting professor at the Ecolè Internationale de Theatre Jacques Lacoq since 1999
Graduated at Tokio Toho College, University of Theatre and Art, then he took part in the bewitching Kobo Abe Studio, the theatre research centre directed by the great writer. He studied japanese traditional theatre, No and Kyogen. Then he got his diploma at“Ecole Internationale de théâtre Jacques Lecoq” in Paris in 1975. From 1976 he mainly lives in Italy. In Milan, he founded and directed the International Theater School Kuniaki Ida. From '89 he teaches at Civica Scuola d’Arte Drammatica ‘Paolo Grassi’. As director of theatre and music shows and theatre teacher he worked in several country: Italy, Japan, Korea, Portugal, Germany, South Africa, Hong Kong, India, France and for numerous institutions: the Japan Opera Foundation, the Nikkai Opera in Tokio, the Korean National Theatre, Ecole Régionale d’Acteur in Cannes, the Academia Contemporanea de Espectaculo in Porto and others. He was one of the founders of Teatro Arsenale di Milano and of Scuola di Teatro ‘Arsenale’.

ed Yves Vacher. Dal 2003 al 2005 dirige un centro di studi teatrali in Spagna, La Factoria Teatro dove alterna la sua attività di attore e regista con quella di pedagogo. Dal 2007 collabora con Kuniaki Ida e Marina Spreafico come insegnante alla Scuola di Teatro Arsenale.
Actor, director and teacher he is member of Compagnia Teatro Arsenale, with which he staged several shows; he also participated in producions and festival all around Italy. He studied at “Scuola di Teatro Arsenale” and continued studying in Italy and France participating at numerous workshop. As an actor he compared himself with several theatrical texts and styles: Shakespeare, Ionesco, contemporary authors, commedia dell’arte, Sartre, Pirandello, Hugo… He also directed several shows, mainly in Milan, two operine liriche,public and radio reading. He is teacher at scuola di Teatro Arsenale from 2003 and responsible for theatrical education at Accademia di musical MTS from 2002 to 2005; in the last six years he holded workshop in Italy and abroad. He lives between Italy and Burkina Faso where he dedicated himself to the education of local artists and to the collaboration with theatrical burkinabé companies
